Orquesta Borinquen at The Ramp
Puerto Rican salsa comes to San Francisco’s waterfront
Orquesta Borinquen brings salsa dura to The Ramp for an afternoon and evening of live music and dancing. The performance will also feature DJ Antonio and DJ EMC, creating six hours of music at the popular waterfront venue.

Bye Bye Kids Cancer Talent Show
Young performers support childhood cancer research
Children from throughout the Bay Area will take the stage for the 12th Annual Bye Bye Kids Cancer Talent Show, a free family event benefiting childhood cancer research at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. Created in 2015 by a five-year-old child, the annual program brings young performers and families together in support of pediatric cancer research.

San Francisco Boys Chorus Auditions
Young Bay Area singers invited to audition
The San Francisco Boys Chorus will hold auditions for boys ages 5 to 12 with unchanged voices. Young singers receive vocal training while developing music appreciation, self-confidence and discipline. Auditions will be offered in San Francisco, San Rafael, San Mateo and the East Bay. Boys in kindergarten or pre-K are automatically accepted into the Junior Chorus and do not need to audition.

Gran Festival Salvadoreño
Salvadoran culture takes center stage in San José
Caravana de la Bahía, presented by Edgar Ortiz, brings the Gran Festival Salvadoreño to San José for a family celebration of Salvadoran music, food and traditions. Orquesta San Vicente headlines the program, joined by Roberto Salamanca and entertainer Cocolito. The festival also includes Salvadoran food, a children’s area and a mechanical bull.

El Flamenco de Jerez
Andalusian artists bring flamenco tradition to Northern California
A visiting ensemble celebrates the cultural heritage of Jerez and Andalusia through flamenco dance, vocals, guitar and percussion. Featured performers include dancers Macarena de Jerez and Carmen Herrera, vocalist José Mijita, guitarist Ismael Heredia and percussionist Manuel Vinaza.
