Luna Rienne Gallery exhibits “The streets of San Francisco”

by Magdy Zara

“The Streets Of San Francisco” is an exhibition that portrays urban landscapes that have inspired locals and tourists, through the eyes of four urban luminaries: Anthony Holdsworth, Beryl Landau, Nathan “Nate1” Tan and Sirron Norris. Their individual perspectives and styles pay homage to the streets, hills, skies and architecture that provide the setting for the unique culture created in San Francisco.

The Luna Rienne Gallery has a large inventory of works of art available to be sold at its auction, which you can access by simply visiting its website to be on its mailing list.

To examine the vast variety of paintings available, you can contact us at 415.647.5888 or email (info@lunarienne.com) to schedule a visit.

In relation to the artists we can say that:

Antony Holdsworth was born in England and embarked on a painting career while working as Head of Exterior Restoration at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy. After a long career he came to the Mission District of San Francisco and has exhibited in important galleries in California.

Sirron Norris, is an artist, muralist, designer and educator living in San Francisco. He graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

Beryl Landau is a San Francisco-based artist who describes her work as “symbolic landscape.” Her acrylic paintings depict geographical places represented in a way that evokes feelings about them.

Nathan Tan was born in England and later immigrated to San Francisco as a child. A self-taught artist, he became a local graffiti legend in San Francisco and as a teenager, he later earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design at San Francisco State University.

The exhibition has been open to the public since March 2 and will end on April 7, during gallery hours:

Friday: 3 – 6 p.m.

Saturday: 12 – 6 p.m.

Sunday: 12 – 4 p.m.

The Luna Rienne Gallery is located at 3318 Calle 22 in San Francisco.
