Momotombo SF, led by Leo Rosales and Gabe Manzo, have put together an All Star line up with a person I have wanted to meet since the 70s, bass player David Margen. David brought a thump like we have not seen in Latin Rock that shook the entire venue.
The group combines Latin rhythms, Afro Cuban beats, Jazz and Rock to create an exciting, powerful and authentic Latin Rock sound.
The night continued with the group performing many favorite Santana & Malo songs with a special surprise appearance of current long time Santana timbalero Karl Perazzo. He took the stage and traded off timbale duty with Leo Rosales.
The group continues their start with a show at the Empress Theater with special guest Jorge Santana.

Ray Cepeda and José “Chepito” Aréas group
Everybody has been asking about the new Ray Cepeda and Jose “Chepito” Areas single. “Mi Gloria” is a Latin Rock ballad that features Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Jose “Chepito” Areas from the original Santana Band. Solid Latin Rock at its best. Great vocals and dual guitar leads. It’s available exclusively at cdbaby.
