Police in the U.S. are an invading army

The police have become a colonial army in virtually every city in the United States. With 18,000 state and local law enforcement agencies in the U.S., they constitute a greater danger than they serve as protection. In 2008, 12,501 local police departments with the equivalent of at least one full-time officer were operating in the U.S. Also in that year, local police departments had about 593,000 full-time employees, including 461,000 sworn officers. About 60 percent of all state and local sworn personnel were local police officers.

According to Bureau of Justice Statistics, an estimated 75 percent of local police officers in 2007 were employed by police departments that authorized the use of “conducted energy devices” — such as tasers — up from 47 percent in 2003. Sixty-one percent of local police departments regularly used video cameras in patrol cars during 2007, compared to 55 percent in 2003. There were about 71,000 in-car cameras in use during 2007, compared to 49,000 in 2003. Police “apprehensions” have resulted in 150,000 to over 200,000 Stop-and-Frisk tactics in only the city of New York so far this year, with over 85 percent of those stopped being Hispanics and African Americans.[ii] Until the people of this country realize what is happening with the impact armyof the police on our communities, there will continue to be a level of repression, illegal surveillance and imprisonment unlike anything seen in the rest of the world.

Police who murder are placed on “paid administrative leave” and permitted to obtain the services of their unions and their attorneys before independent investigations can be initiated by district attorneys or other non-internal police agencies. (Just imagine being sent on a paid vacation as a benefit of having killed someone – the victim’s family doesn’t get a paid vacation – only the killer cop gets one!) The police have months to assemble their stories (or versions of the killing) before the rest of the community even hears what occurred. After a crime, the police deliver their version of the facts to the media. That “story” is accepted as gospel.

Since it is currently a crime for anyone but the police to videotape or record the murder scene until the police have come to an agreed upon description of what they say had occurred, the police have dictatorial power over the facts in American “justice.” It is widely believed that the police plant evidence into crime scenes, such as the guns, incendiary devices and drugs allegedly used during the commission of the crime. The public is not allowed to view the aftermath of the scene until the police issue their reports and hold their press conferences.

At the site of an accident or crime scene, they use their authority to stop traffic for countless hours when they deem it is necessary. For example, on 680, a major thoroughfare through the Bay Area when an officer/shooting had occurred, traffic was held up for nine hours affecting thousands of people.

Another example relates to the funerals of police officers killed in action. Public funds are used for grandiose funeral parades with thousands of officers involved.

They repeat the mantra “Our officers are trained to use whatever force is reasonable and necessary to effect an arrest or eliminate a threat” to justify whatever atrocities the police commit, as if merely uttering those words makes it so. Thus, in what can be characterized as self-serving, tautological nonsense, police acquit themselves of any misconduct by being their own judges, juries and executioners. Vallejo police, for example, have killed a citizen every month for the last 5 months – all of the murders deemed “reasonable and necessary.”

San Francisco, with almost twice the number of police officers as San Jose, is party to twice as many killings a year as our neighbors to the south. One out of three black men in the United States is in prison or on parole. We arrest and imprison more citizens percentage-wise in our country than anywhere in the world.

­And yet, the daily newspapers cite one police chief after another, claiming that if we just had more money to hire additional street thugs to police us, we would be safer.

C’mon people, learn to think critically, and read between the lines. Fewer police will result in fewer murders, crimes and racism. We can protect ourselves better without their invasion of our communities. A limited number of police, available to handle violent, gang, Mafia and Congressional-related crime, is much preferable to the standing armies that now inhabit our cities.

Digital TV: Mind control by the sound of silence

True Ott, PhD, ND, The Sound of Silence, which exposes the intention of the elite’ pursuit to gaining total control of all humans in the U.S. and the world through technology. It is a source of information not offered by the mainstream media or the educational system, which much of the time works for these same corporation by conducting researches and studies that will not benefit the people, but rather the elite.

This is an extremely timely and important essay. It overviews a secret Pentagon psychotronics technology known as Silent Sound Spread Spectrum (SSSS) that has been fully operational since the early 1990s. I first found out about the use of this technology from Al Bielek in a 1992 video he made with Vladimir Terziski. This technology was used against battle-hardened Iraqi troops fortified in deep underground bunkers in Kuwait and Iraq in the first Gulf War in January of 1991.

THE SOUND OF SILENCE

The Antithesis of Freedom

Eisenhower was an honest and patriotic American. Like Marine Corp General Smedley Butler, who decades earlier declared to Congress that “War is a Racket,” Ike knew that such absolute power and total covert control over the minds and hearts of individual citizens would corrupt society absolutely. He also knew and understood, as did the German philosopher Goethe: “No man is more hopelessly enslaved, than he who falsely believes that he is free.” Therefore, he issued his strong, concluding warning to America. Today, this author must do no less.

The Sound of Silence is a military-intelligence code word for certain psychotronic weapons of mass mind-control tested in the mid-1950s, perfected during the 70s, and used extensively by the “modern” U.S. military in the early 90s, despite the opposition and warnings issued by men such as Dwight David Eisenhower.

This mind-altering covert weapon is based on something called subliminal carrier technology, or the Silent Sound Spread Spectrum (SSSS) (also nicknamed S-Quad or “Squad” in military jargon). It was developed for military use by Dr. Oliver Lowery of Norcross, Georgia, and is described in US Patent #5,159,703 — “Silent Subliminal Presentation System” for commercial use in 1992. The patent abstract reads: “A silent communications system in which nonaural carriers, in the very low (ELF) or very high audio-frequency (VHF) range or in the adjacent ultrasonic frequency spectrum, are amplitude- or frequency-modulated with the desired intelligence and propagated acoustically or vibrationally, for inducement into the brain, typically through the use of loudspeakers, earphones, or piezoelectric transducers. The modulated carriers may be transmitted directly in real time or may be conveniently recorded and stored on mechanical, magnetic, or optical media for delayed or repeated transmission to the listener.”

In layman’s terms, this device, this “Sound of Silence”simply allows for the unwarranted implantation of specific thoughts, emotions, and even prescribed physical actions into unsuspecting human beings. In short, it has the very real ability to turn human beings into mere puppets in the hands of certain “controllers,” or puppet-masters.

Eisenhower knew full well what such a “weapon” could do in the hands of greedy, conspiring men and women scheming to control the planet. It could easily result in the takeover of American society without a single bullet being fired. This is what he was warning America about, this is the “combination” he feared above all others.

Have the leaders of America ignored Ike’s warning? Have conspiring and evil men and women utilized this diabolical technology on unsuspecting Americans and others outside of our borders? If so, will they continue to utilize the technology through the medium of television and radio? This exposé will attempt to answer these questions, and give the reader a clear picture of exactly who made the decisions to use the “Sound of Silence” in both war and peace.

On March 23, 1991, a news brief was released in the form of an ITV News Bureau Ltd (London) wire service bulletin entitled “High-Tech Psychological Warfare Arrives in the Middle East.” This was during the administration of George Bush Sr., during “Operation Desert Storm,” and describes in remarkable detail a US Psychological Operations (psy-ops) covert operation successfully deployed against Iraqi troops in Kuwait.

Saddam Hussein’s vaunted “Republican Guard” crack troops were promising Bush “the mother of all battles” with many thousands of dead coalition troops. On paper, it looked convincing. Hussein’s Republican Guard troops were battle-hardened veterans of the 10 year war with Iran, while coalition troops were unblooded. The Iraqis had modern weaponry and were well trained in how to use it.

Something very strange happened, however. The “mother of all battles” ended before it began, as literally hundreds of thousands of Iraqi soldiers surrendered en masse without even firing a shot!

­Here is what the British press reported on the incident (while the American press was censored): “… an unbelievable and highly classified psy-ops program utilizing ‘Silent Sound’ techniques was successfully deployed. The opportunity to use this method occurred when Saddam Hussein’s military command-and-control system was destroyed. The Iraqi troops were then forced to use commercial FM radio stations to carry encoded commands, which were broadcast on the 100 MHz frequency. The US psy-ops team set up its own portable FM transmitter, utilizing the same frequency, in the deserted city of Al Khafji. This US transmitter overpowered the local Iraqi station. Along with patriotic and religious music, psy-ops transmitted ‘vague, confusing and contradictory military orders and information.

“Subliminally, a much more powerful technology was at work, however. A sophisticated electronic system designed to ‘speak’ directly to the mind of the listener; to alter and entrain his brainwaves, to manipulate his brain’s electroencephalographic (EEG) patterns and thus artificially implant negative emotional states —- feelings of intense fear, anxiety, despair and hopelessness were created in the Iraqi troops. This incredibly effective subliminal system doesn’t just tell a person to feel an emotion, it makes them feel it; it implants that emotion in their minds.”

While utilizing such a “non-lethal” covert psy-ops weapon resulted in many lives being saved, both American, Coalition, as well as Iraqi, the question begs to be asked: how can Americans be assured that such a weapon is not being used on them by “Big Brother” on a daily basis? U.S. police chiefs, Congress issue stark warning over survillance drones

Largest consortium of police officials says use of unmanned aircraft should be restricted; vehicles should not be armed; Congressional Research Service flags major constitutional concerns­

­The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), the biggest union of law officials in the US, has issued guidelines calling for a reassessment of the potential widespread use of aerial drones for domestic policing.

The Association’s national advisory for the use of unmanned aircraft notes that more and more departments across the nation are considering turning to drones to conduct search and rescue operations, traffic accident scene mapping and surveillance activities.

The federal government is in the process of rolling out new rules on the use of the unmanned drones, with the FAA announcing procedures will “streamline” the process through which government agencies, including local law enforcement, receive licenses to operate the aircraft.

Critics have warned that the FAA has not acted to establish any safeguards whatsoever, and that congress is not holding the agency to account.

The IACP advisory notes that police should, in all cases, acquire search warrants before using drones for any activity that may “intrude upon reasonable expectations of privacy,” As we have previously reported, some police departments have expressed a willingness to arm drones with rubber bullets and tear gas.

Don Roby, chairman of the IACP’s aviation committee noted in comments to USA Today, that in the face of such plans, the advisory represent an “urgent” call to limit the use of drones.

“It’s very important that people understand that we won’t be up there with armed predator drones firing away,” said Roby, who also is a Baltimore Police Department captain. “Everytime you hear someone talking about the use of these vehicles, it’s always in the context of a military operation. That’s not what we’re talking about.”

“Equipping the aircraft with weapons of any type is strongly discouraged.” notes the advisory.

“Given the current state of the technology, the ability to effectively deploy weapons from a small UA (un-manned aircraft) is doubtful … (and) public acceptance of airborne use of force is likewise doubtful and could result in unnecessary community resistance to the program.” the advisory further states.

While the guidelines are certainly encouraging, the ACLU argues that they are not satisfactory on their own.

“We don’t think these recommendations go far enough to ensure true protection of privacy from drones,” the ACLU said in a statement, adding that privacy protections should be written into law, as has been suggested by Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, rather than “merely promulgated by the police themselves.”

FAA documents recently obtained and released by the Electronic Frontier Foundation have confirmed that the roll out of domestic unmanned drones will, for the most part, be focused solely on the mass surveillance of the American people. In a report, EPIC recently noted: With some exceptions, drone flights in the U.S. have been all about developing and testing surveillance technology. The North Little Rock Police Department, for instance, wrote that their SR30 helicopter-type drone “can carry day zoom cameras, infrared cameras, or both simultaneously.”

Not to be outdone, the Seattle Police Department’s drone comes with four separate cameras, offering thermal infrared video, low light “dusk-dawn” video, and a 1080p HD video camera attachment.

The Miami-Dade Police Department and Texas Department of Public Safety have employed drones capable of both daytime and nighttime video cameras, and according to the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Certificate of Authorization (COA) paperwork, their drone was to be employed in support of “critical law enforcement operations.”

However, the FAA didn’t just rubber stamp all drone requests. For example, the Ogden Police Departmentwanted to use its “nocturnal surveillance airship [aka blimp] . . . for law enforcement surveillance of high crime areas of Ogden City.” The FAA disapproved the request, finding Odgen’s proposed use “presents an unacceptable high risk to the National Airspace System (NAS).”

Furthermore, thousands of pages of FAA experimental drone flight records that were obtained by the Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR) detail just how complicated and risky it would be to operate thousands of unmanned arial vehicles safely without spending billions of dollars.

Another report released last week, by the Congressional Research Service found that ”the prospect of drone use inside the United States raises far-reaching issues concerning the extent of government surveillance authority, the value of privacy in the digital age, and the role of Congress in reconciling these issues.”

“Police officers who were once relegated to naked eye observations ­may soon have, or in some cases already possess, the capability to see through walls or track an individual’s movements from the sky,” the report notes. “One might question, then: What is the proper balance between the necessity of the government to keep people safe and the privacy needs of individuals?”

The “ability to closely monitor an individual’s movements with pinpoint accuracy may raise more significant constitutional concerns than some other types of surveillance technology,” CRS says.

“Unless a meaningful distinction can be made between drone surveillance and more traditional forms of government tracking,” the report notes, “existing jurisprudence suggests that a reviewing court would likely uphold drone surveillance conducted with no individualized suspicion when conducted for purposes other than strict law enforcement.”

Following intense lobbying, almost exclusively by defense contractors, Congress recently passed legislation paving the way for what the FAA predicts will be somewhere in the region of 30,000 drones in operation in US skies by 2020. GoDaddy attack likely a psyop to discredit Anonymous

It is likely no coincidence that on the verge of President Obama’s plan to sign an unconstitutional Executive Order (EO) implementing police state cyber security measures, the internet gets hit with one of the worst DDoS attacks ever perpetrated. Today, GoDaddy got “nuked” with a highly-coordinated DDoS attack, taking down its name servers, websites, hosted email and all its internal phone systems.

The mainstream media is blaming “Anonymous” for the attack, but this is almost certainly a cover story. The problem with being an anonymous groupis that anyone can claim to be you. What’s even more revealing is that the attacker who claimed responsibility for the attack openly stated he is not part of Anonymous.

His twitter name was “Anonymous Own3r,” eluding to the hacker slang of someone “owning” a selected target. This term is often used in online video games. It means this user is saying he achieved victory over Anonymous, not that he IS Anonymous.

The attack itself was devastating not only to GoDaddy’s customer base, but also to the reputation of Anonymous itself. That was probably the whole point: to make Anonymous look like a group of online terrorists when, in reality, the real Anonymous group historically only attacks selective targets with strong ties to the police state. Across the mainstream media, from PC Magazine to CBS News the mainstream media is falsely reporting that “Anonymous” claimed responsibility for the attack.

But that’s simply not true: the “Anonymous Own3r” user claimed responsibility for it. And he added, in a Tweet, these words: “It is not Anonymous collective it’s only me. Don’t use Anonymous collective name on it, just my name.”

To push through a new police state internet directive, however, you can’t just smack it down without justification. You first have to create a demand for it by staging your own false flag attack that brings down a significant portion of the internet for a day or so. And then, when the internet business owners cry out for the government to “do something!” you respond with the executive order. To “keep the internet safe,” of course.

This is a classic problem-reaction-solution tactic. First, you create the problem, wait for the reaction, and the implement your solution — the thing you wanted all along. In the case of false flags, the “solutions” are always an expanded police state, more government power, fewer civil liberties and the crushing of freedom.

This is what’s been happening in America at an accelerated rate ever since 9/11 and the Patriot Act. Now that this false flag attack on GoDaddy has been pulled off, you can expect a swift reactionary — and even “extremist” — response from the White House. Watch for a cyber security EO to be signed and implemented within the next few weeks, and watch for this attack on GoDaddy to be cited as the reason for “needing” the EO. Welcome to the world of false flag cyber warfare.

Nicaragua inching towards canal with financing from Chinese firm

Nicaragua has signed a memorandum of understanding with a Chinese company on financing for a $30 billion inter-oceanic canal, a government official told Efe on Friday.

The document was signed by Nicaraguan deputy foreign minister and president of the Grand Interoceanic Canal Authority, Manuel Coronel Kautz, and the head of the HK Nicaragua Development Inversion Company, Wing Jang, the official said.

In the MOU, the Nicaraguan government authorized the Hong Kong-domiciled firm to structure and manage the financing for the project, President Daniel Ortega said in comments posted on the government Web site El 19 Digital.

Nicaragua has also sought financing for the project from Brazil, China, Russia and Venezuela.

The Nicaraguan Congress, controlled by Ortega’s allies, approved a bill on July 3 authorizing construction of the inter-oceanic canal project, a joint public/private venture in which the state will have a 51 percent stake and offer the remaining 49 percent to countries, international organizations, corporations or individuals.

Initial projections are that the canal could be partially completed by 2019, when it would have the capacity to accommodate 416 million metric tons, or 3.9 percent of global maritime cargo.

The canal construction zone also will be declared “of public use,” with owners of the affected properties to be compensated by the Nicaraguan government within a period of no more than 10 years.

Nicaragua is studying six potential routes, all of which traverse a section of Lake Nicaragua and one that would have ships navigate a portion of the San Juan River, the Nicaraguan-controlled waterway that forms the country’s border with Costa Rica.

Three Dutch companies currently are conducting pre-feasibility studies for the construction of the canal, the Nicaraguan government says.

­Rate of young Mexicans without working, studying grows

The population of young Mexicans between the ages of 15 and 29 years without working or studying increased from 2008 to 2010, according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The report underlined a 0,5 percent of increase of this rate, while Mexico continues to be the third country of the OECD holding the highest percentage (24,4 percent) of that rate following Turkey and Israel.

In Mexico, nearly 7,226,000 people do not attend schools or are part of the labor force and 1,930,000 are between the ages of 15 and 19 years old.

Mega-banks plan for collapse with contingency plans and private police force

The biggest banks in the U.S. have been given advisement by U.S. regulators that they must make plans to stave off a complete financial collapse without relying on the U.S. government. Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and other technocrats have secretly crafted worst-case scenarios in which they can continue to thrive during a full-blown domestic monetary crisis.

The Federal Reserve and the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) named Citigroup Inc., Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase & Co. as well as others to devise “recovery plans” in 2010. Banks were directed to have schemes to remain afloat by selling off assets, finding alternative sources of funding, reducing risky measures that make a quick buck. These strategies were to be perfected with “no assumption of extraordinary support from the public sector.”

Resolution plans, required under the 2010 Dodd-Frank financial reform law describe how to liquidate banking assets without causing further damage to a failing financial system. By selling “non-core assets” without upsetting shareholders, while protecting the monetary system, taxpayers and creditors are the work of the mega-banks who have contributed solely to the destruction of the global financial markets.

The OCC constantly monitors the largest banks and evaluates their resolution plans to provide assurance to the U.S. government that financial instability will not destroy the banking industry in America.

The details of the resolution plans are considered confidential.

While the mega-banks wait to see if another round of banker bailouts will alleviate the pressure of the international interests, Bank of America and Citigroup are beginning to act as if they are implementing their resolution plans covertly.

Bank of America has sold off portions of their domestic assets to secure capital, while Citigroup has followed suit. By ridding themselves of non-core assets, combined with bailout monies,

Citigroup – in their resolution plan decided by management meetings by regulators – will “make appropriate assumptions as to the valuations of assets and off-balance sheet positions.”

By adhering to initiatives provided by the Financial Stability Board, these mega-banks will, when they enact their resolution plans, coordinate with international banking institutions and regulators rather than simply implode.

While preparing for financial collapse, the technocrats on Wall Street are also acquiring firearms, ammunition and control over private mercenary corporations like DynCorp and Blackwater (now Academi) as authorized by the Department of Defense (DoD) directive 3025.18.

DynCorp is a military-based private mercenary contractor that provides (among other services) intelligence training and support, international security, contingency plans and operations. Ninety-six percent of their funding is based on annual revenues from the U.S. federal government. The international branch of DynCorp has operated as a “police force” even assisting local law enforcement during Hurricane Katrina.

Named as investors for the amassing of gun and ammunition manufacturers are Citibank, Bank of America, Barclays and Deutsche Bank who are pouring money intoCerebus and Veritas Equity who have taken over private corporations involved in the controlling riot situations.

The Federal Reserve Bank, one of the heads of banking cartels, has their own police force which operates as a protective security for the Fed against the American public. As part of the Federal Reserve Act signed in 1913, the designation of a Federal Law Enforcement – special police officers that are exclusively regulated by authority of the Fed (whether in uniform or plain clothes.

These specialized police officers (who train with Special Response Teams) can work in tandem with local law enforcement or U.S. federal agencies. These officers are heavily armed with semi-automatic pistols, sub machine guns and assault rifles as well as body armor.

Across the nation, reports about the militarization of local police departments reflect Israeli influence in training exercises, according to a military analyst.

Michael Chertoff, Israeli citizen and former director of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS),explains that the increased use of military uniforms, armored vehicles, assault weapons, illegal surveillance all reflects unconstitutional policies of Israeli Defense Forces that have become the new operational manual.

While preparations for financial collapse and technocratic acquisition of mercenary military forces are being laid out behind closed doors, even the mere mention of protest against the banking cartels is becoming a crime.

Recently David C. Gorczynski was charged with attempted bank robbery and making terroristic threats – and to add insult to injury, one misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. Gorczynski is only guilty of protesting outside a Wells Fargo Bank while holding one sign that read “You’re Being Robbed” and another that stated “Give a man a gun, he can rob a bank. Give a man a bank, and he can rob a country.”

Carl Scalo, Easton police chief said that “We can’t allow the perceived idea of protesting to be a defense to criminality. People have to understand if they want to protest, there’s a line.”

Mary Catherine Roper of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) believes that the charges are “overzealous . . . especially given the clear political nature of the statements.”

Last week, Russian-based security firm, Kapersky Lab, uncovered acyber-surveillance virus called Gauss that specifically targets banking transactions, stealing login information for social networks, email and instant messaging. Infected computer are mostly in the Middle East; however, CitiGroup Inc.’s Citibank and eBay’s Paypal online payment system have been affected. This virus’ focus on ­online banking makes it a potential threat to banking systems worldwide.

Ever since the global fiat currency implosion that begun in 2008, the banking cartels have been propping up the American financial system to stave off a complete monetary collapse in the U.S.. However, it has always been their intention to bring down the monetary system in America. Ironically, Gauss may be the mode in which they are able to carry this out.

In the event that Gauss is used as an excuse to shut down the banking industry domestically to purge all computers of the virus, this would be the flashing red warning signal that the covert banking holiday has begun. Since all mega banks have resolution plans filed with the Fed, their insolvency would be superficial.

Once all customer funds were electronically transferred into off-shore accounts, the specialized police forces and hired mercenaries would be stepped forward to protect the technocrats from retaliation for their crimes.

Tactical manuals have already been written to explain how to lockdown urbanized centers in the event of a domestic insurrection. From law-enforcement battalions consisting of specialized Marine Corps military police to collaboration of a Police Stabilization Force, the resolution plans put forth by the mega-banks in conjunction with the DHS and the U.S. Armed Forces preparatory measures, it is clear that when the monetary system in America finally does collapse, they will be prepared.

Digital TV: Mind control by the sound of silence

NOTE FROM THE EDITOR: Dear Readers: This is another interesting article I found online, authored by By A. True Ott, PhD, ND, which I believe it will enlighten you regarding the intention of the elite – through members in the government – to gain total control of all humans in the U.S. and the world through technology. Because it is too long for our publication, we will publish it in a series. This is the First Part.

This is an extremely timely and important essay. It overviews a secret Pentagon psychotronics technology known as Silent Sound Spread Spectrum (SSSS) that has been fully operational since the early 1990s. I first found out about the use of this technology from Al Bielek in a 1992 video he made with Vladimir Terziski. This technology was used against battle-hardened Iraqi troops fortified in deep underground bunkers in Kuwait and Iraq in the first Gulf War in January of 1991.

The physical, emotional, and psychological effects of this technology were so severe that hundreds of thousands of Iraqi troops surrendered en masse without firing even a single shot against US led coalition forces. The numbers reported in the news were staggering: 75,000 and then another 125,000 (or more) Iraqi troops would come out of their deep desert bunkers waving white flags and falling to their knees before approaching US troops and literally kiss their captor’sboots or hands if given the opportunity.

Why would eight-year veterans of Middle Eastern warfare (with Iran 1980-1988) behave this way? Simple. They were subjected to a technology that was so extreme and incomprehensible that they were suddenly reduced to the level of compliant children and felt grateful to still be alive in the wake of their mind-wrenching experience.

This technology is about to be used, albeit in a more subtle fashion, against American citizens in a highly classified and covert operation to mind control and manipulate the entire population into ‘compliance’ with our New World order overlords. The technology will utilize a combination of HAARP transmitters, GWEN towers, microwave cell phone towers, and the soon-to-be-mandatory High Definition Digital TV that will enter your home via: a) cable, b) satellite, c) HD TVs, or d) those oh-so-easy-to-obtain “digital converter boxes” that the government is so anxious to help you obtain and underwrite most of the cost on your behalf.

But why is the government so anxious to help American citizens experience a clearer and more highly defined television picture? Does that make sense to you? Since when is the government so concerned about the visual quality of our televised entertainment that Congress would pass an undebated statutory proclamation which mandated that the HD conversion take place on Feb. 17, 2009 and then subsided about 90% of the associated cost?

I’m only guessing, but if there are 200 million “regular” televisions in America to be converted into HD, then that $40 in government subsidy per TV × 200,000,000 = $8 billion. Why is the government so anxious to spend 8 billion dollars on her citizens to improve the clarity of a TV picture while we sit in our recliners and Ergohuman chairs? Or is the recently touted “additional bandwidth” cover story that supposedly is to be gained with the HD technology the only and genuine reason for spending so much taxpayer dollars on HD conversion?

The second service that this author performs is to “out” two of our more deceptive CIA/Pentagon ‘assets’ masquerading under the rubric of natural health advocates. Their names are Rima Laibow and her husband, “former” Major General Albert Stubblebine. If your e-mail Inbox has been filling with warnings and articles in recent months about the coming Codex regulations and the “wonderful” job that Rima and her retired Army husband have been doing to try and stem the tide, then you know who I’m talking about.

Folks, is it time to wake up yet? Or should we just resume our slumber and wait for them to take us away in those spiffy Gunderson cattle cars that Phil Schneider warned us about in 1995 (you know, the ones with the built in shackles and manacles)?

THE SOUND OF SILENCE

The Antithesis of Freedom

The year was 1961, and John Kennedy was soon to become the 35th President. Shortly before Kennedy’s inauguration, President Dwight D. Eisenhower shocked the nation and the world with his televised farewell speech. The speech’s content was shocking because General Eisenhower was a very popular war hero, and American military might was second to none.

Eisenhower, a highly decorated five-star general, was the Supreme Commander of all allied forces during World War II. It was Eisenhower’s leadership during the Normandy invasion that ultimately freed Europe from the Nazi scourge.

Incredibly, in his farewell address, this great American hero did not warn the nation of the budding communist threat or the horrors of nuclear proliferation. No, not at all! Instead, this career military genius poignantly and soberly declared to this great nation:

“… We have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the defense establishment. We annually spend on military security more than the net income of all United States corporations.

“This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence — economic, political, even spiritual — is felt in every city, every state house, every office of the federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to recognize its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.

“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or our democratic processes.”

Here we have a career military officer, and sitting US President warning the nation in his final farewell speech, that something called “unwarranted influence by the military-industrial complex” poses an extremely dangerous threat to our Free Republic society. According to Eisenhower, this threat “exists and will persist.”

To President Eisenhower, in January of 1961, this evil was a much greater threat to America than Castro’s Cuba or Kruschev’s Soviet Union. What exactly could have happened in the “military-industrialist” establishment that would have caused ‘Eisenhower to issue such a strongly worded warning? Improved machine gun production? Nope. Battleship production? Nope. Nuclear submarines? Nope. Proliferation of nuclear warheads? A concern of course, but a concern that most Americans were fully aware of.

No, obviously what caused Eisenhower such deep concern had to be something much more pervasively shadowy, dark and secret. Some new, covert, technology had clearly emerged that had the very real potential to provide certain individuals with the “acquisition of unwarranted influence” that in turn would “endanger our liberties or our democratic processes” (i.e., our free and fair election process). In other words, it had the clear potential to circumvent the voice of the people and completely empower un-elected power mongers.

Eisenhower, I would submit, was warning America about something called the “Sound of Silence”.

Mass mind control is upon us – it’s time to awaken your consciousness

Many people may not realize that when they turn on the television in their home, what they see as a constant flow of images is actually flickering. Although we do not see this consciously, the repetitive pattern of flickering images creates a state that is similar to hypnosis in the television viewer.

Studies by researcher Herbert Krugman have shown that within 30 seconds of television viewing, brain waves switch from predominantly beta waves, indicating alert and conscious attention, to predominantly alpha waves, indicating an unfocused, receptive lack of attention. The brain’s left hemisphere, which processes information logically and analytically, tunes out while the person is watching TV, while the right hemisphere of the brain, which processes information emotionally and non-critically, is allowed to function without hindrance.

Due to this phenomenon, television transmits information, which is not actively thought about at the time of exposure, much like hypnosis. When viewing television, we do not consciously rationalize the information resonating within our unconscious depths at the time of transmission and the viewer becomes more open and suggestible.

Because of the passive, hypnosis-like viewing of television as well as its predominance in the homes of nearly all Americans, the television is one of the most powerful tools used today. As of 2009, six companies controlled all of the major media outlets in the United States. That is a very small number of people controlling all of the information that streams into millions of homes across America each day through their television sets.

In recent years, a number of investigations and exposes have revealed that these giants’ silence independent voices and investigations, discourage journalism that interferes with the agendas of special interests, and eliminate diversity in the information they provide. Because of the control that these companies have over the information that most Americans receive on a daily basis, these criticisms and revelations are never known by most of the American public.

These media giants work hand and glove with the federal government as well as many multinational corporations to disseminate carefully planned messages. Through the television and other forms of media, they tell you what to think about, what to worry about, what to smile about, and what to be scared of. They have sold the public on the idea of the newscaster being an extension of the family, a trusted figure who encourages the acceptance of the information being presented as true and accurate. In 2008, the pentagon spent more than $2 billion compensating major media outlets for disseminating public relations messages.

These messages are delivered to the television viewer as news produced by the television station, not as paid and produced by the pentagon. In the same year, pharmaceutical companies paid television outlets more than $4 billion for advertising, which included Video News Releases (VNR), specially tailored pieces that appear within the nightly news disguised as researched and reported by the local stations. No other industrialized nation in the world allows drug ads on television let alone these cleverly disguised VNRs hidden within the news.

And yet while all this has been happening behind the scenes, the American public has been duped into staking all their trust in select major media outlets as they express brand loyalty in television stations, newspapers, and magazines.

Many people have been tricked into believing that the mainstream media reports only objective news while any information delivered from outside the mainstream is to always be questioned. Somehow the public has bought into the idea that the TV wouldn’t lie to them. Many people will not pay any regard to information that is not covered by the major media; if they did not hear about it on the nightly news then they simply don’t care. This is the mindset that the major media moguls want us to have, as we are willfully ignorant and obedient to their every direction. Our unanalytical and loyal viewership is in their best interest.

Major media news networks continually bombard us with the possibility of an endless amount of scenarios, which produce fear and then shape our reactions to real situations. This is predictive programming; it gets us familiar with an idea so that when it happens we expect it and do not react and question. Although most people refer to television programming as the shows that are aired on television, it can also refer to the programming of the people that occurs on a daily basis.

Most people believe they are just simply being entertained, but they never realize that their way of life is being shaped for them and their thoughts are actually being given to them. They are being familiarized with ideas, concepts, and fear so they won’t question certain interventions in the future. TV gives us what messages must be imprinted in our minds, gives us what button to push in what sequence, and if it’s done the right way with the right production and the right propaganda then the public will react and do exactly as they’ve been programmed to do.

When one continually controls the information, one controls the people absorbing the information. The manufactured and controlled information on TV can be referred to as the signal and that constant signal is what shapes and guides the masses to their conclusions.

­In order to take back our minds, we must first learn to “Unplug the Signal.” By turning off your TV you will realize the world that you’re living in is suddenly very unfamiliar to you. You will see that news of no importance is constantly debated and analyzed, and as you listen to the conversations of people around you, you realize they’re talking robots just repeating what they’ve heard on the news. This is exactly what Zbigniew Brzezinski talked about in his book “Between Two Ages”. He said, “Shortly, the public will be unable to reason or think for themselves. They’ll only be able to parrot the information they’ve been given on the previous night’s news.”

Oil Dirty Business brings to the screen the attack on a people for oil

At the Delta of the Niger River in Nigeria, where a vast proportion of the planet’s oil is excavated, bomb attacks, abductions and murders form part of the daily routine. The documentary portrays the image of “development”, as giant multinational petroleum companies would define it. Petroleum leaks in the River destroy the flora and fauna, poison the food chain and consequently wipe out the 27 million indigenous people of the area – the Ijaws, the Ogoni and the Itsekiris.

The inhabitants dare to ask the self-evident, they demand an end to it. As a response they are being massively and brutally attacked by special forces of the army and the police, which are armed by the oil companies. On the river the camera meets militia of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta-MEND- and, for the first time, presents to the world shattering images of their speed boat patrols and heavy weaponry.

Collegiate boxers compete in USF’s 9th Annual Hilltop Cup

The University of San Francisco (USF) announced today the 9th Annual Hilltop Cup Boxing Tournament will take place in USF’s War Memorial Gymnasium on Friday, Sept. 14. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and boxing bouts start at 6:00 p.m. USF’s War Memorial Gym is located at 2335 Golden Gate Avenue (at Roselyn Terrace) in San Francisco.

USF’s Hilltop Cup is the largest amateur intercollegiate boxing event in California and is comprised of student intramural bouts and intercollegiate competition with colleges and universities from across the country

Mission Playground grand opening

Come and be part of the grand reopening ceremony of Mission Playground. The event will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, music, food trucks, an outdoor picnic and fun games for children and families.

Mexican Mariachi music officially recognized by UNESCO

UNESCO has officially awarded recognition to Mexican mariachi music as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity at a ceremony held over the weekend as part of the 19th International Mariachi Meeting in the western Mexican city of Guadalajara.

Eight child musicians between 5 and 10 years old dressed in mariachi attire accepted the honor at a brief ceremony Sunday in the main square of Guadalajara.

The ceremony was a symbolic effort to encourage younger generations to keep the tradition alive, National Culture and Arts Council, or Conaculta, president Consuelo Saizar said.

“We simply ask you to conserve and preserve this legacy and its traditions,” Saizar told the children.

At the initiative of the Jalisco government, mariachi music was added to UNESCO’S Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the unanimous decision of a committee of experts meeting on the island of Bali.

The award established the guidelines for creating a national committee of experts and government officials who will define the strategies to follow in order to safeguard this music and ensure its dissemination around the world.

Also inaugurated were a library, a Mariachi Academy that will give courses, and an audio collection with 140 musical compositions and 50,000 miscellaneous recordings starting in the year 1910.

Jalisco state was also declared a World Heritage Site in 2001 for its agave landscape and ancient industrial facilities of tequila.

Guatemalan singer Gaby Moreno releases new album

Singer-songwriter, Gaby Moreno releases her new album, Postales, (Postcards) her first album entirely in Spanish on Sept. 4. The album will be released in the U.S., Mexico, and Latin America under the label Metamorfosis.

Gaby Moreno has already been praised by international media from her previous albums plus live performances all over the U.S. and Europe.

Gaby Moreno nabbed attention from Latin TríoAmerica while being featured in a duet with latin pop star, Ricardo Arjona in his latest single, Fuiste Tu. Her previous albums took her on an extensive tour around the United States, Canada and Europe and has given her solid recognition as an artist and musician and has been awarded with several international awards throughout her career.

‘Lost’ Alum Jorge García to make appearance on ‘Once Upon a Time’

Widely known for his role on Lost, Jorge García is reportedly headed to fantasy land with the upcoming season of ABC’s Once Upon a Time.

García’s former Lost co-star, Emilie de Ravin, is also on the show and was recently promoted to season regular in the role of Belle from “Beauty and the Beast”.

Once Upon a Time is a fantasy-drama created by Tron: Legacy and Lost writers, Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis.

The show centers around a woman with a troubled past who is drawn into a small town in Maine where she soon learns magic and fairy tales may be real.

Though it has been confirmed García will make an appearance on the show, it remains unclear what character he will play. So far, it appears he will only be in one episode. However, de Ravin’s role was extended, so García’s could see the same.

The second season of Once Upon a Time premieres Sunday, Sept. 30 at 8/7c.

For six seasons, García played Hugo “Hurley” Reyes on Lost, before it came to an end in 2010.

In 2011, García picked up a recurring role on Fox’s Alcatraz, a ­mid-season replacement for Terra Nova. The show premiered in January of this year. However, despite initially success, the series was ultimately cancelled on May 9, 2012 due to a drop in viewership.
