Nicole Marie Santiago-Bermúdez
The Santiago-Bermúdez family had more than joy this year, when their beautiful daughter, Nicole Marie Santiago, obtained her high school diploma during this year graduation at the San Francisco Christian School.
Nicole, an exceptional young lady who has endured family tragedies and has learned to overcome obstacles to continue advancing toward a university education, graduated with honors. She transferred to SFSU already and is majoring in Political Science.
The daughter of Israel Santiago, a native of Puerto Rico, and Adriana Bermúdez, from Nicaragua. Nicole started at the age of 12 caring for others. She used to travel to Nicaragua with her mother to provide inmates with food, clothing and bibles.
And lately, she worked helping elderly people, and volunteer at her local church helping kids from her the neighborhood, by taking them to the park and joining them in art projects. Right now she is part of the America Count tutor program, which tutors unprivileged kid.
