El Reportero was founded in 1991 by Marvin J. Ramirez. Our Bilingual (English and Spanish) newspaper is published weekly, providing readers with local news, sports, social events, entertainment, and commentaries affecting Hispanics. El Reportero’s top priority is to serve the Hispanic Bay Area community by keeping our local readers informed. With the support of our loyal readers and sponsors, we are proud of our work and want to say thank you. We are located in the Mission District in the foggy city of San Francisco.

During the last seven years we have been chosen as the official newspaper of the City and County of San Francisco to publish the public notices in the Hispanic market. And during the last four years, we have also been chosen as the official newspaper of the County of San Mateo.
