Cristina Saralegui reveals the nightmarish tales of immigration raids, arrests and deportations during
the April 30 episode of El Show de Cristina, airing on Univisión. During the program, Saralegui will interview
Academy Award nominee Salma Hayek will head Ventanazul, a film company devoted to bringing Latino-themed works to the screen. She will partner with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., and serve as the company’s president and CEO.
Beginning March 21, the Berkeley Public Library will host a poster exhibition related to the Commemorative Period each year that honors the legacy of César Chavez. The display is in the flat display cases on the second floor of the Central Library at 2090 Kittredge St. at Shattuck in downtown. The exhibit runs to April 23.
